Role:

Join Sylvan Learning Center in Everett, WA as a Part-time Teacher for K-12 English and Math! We're looking for passionate educators who inspire students to achieve their academic goals while fostering a love for learning in a supportive environment. Do what you love - teach! Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging, personalized instruction in English and Math for K-12 students. Assess student progress and provide feedback to center staff to tailor individual learning plans. Create a positive and motivating learning environment. Utilize Sylvan's proprietary curriculum and teaching methods. Uses praise and encouragement to ensure students are engaged and inspired to learn Motivates students with Sylvan tokens given for specific achievements according to the Sylvan instructional management standards Records and tracks tokens earned by students Participate in training sessions to enhance teaching skills and methodologies. Maintain a clean and organized classroom setting. Support students in building confidence and academic skills.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field preferred. Teaching certification or relevant experience in K-12 education. Strong understanding of English and Math curriculum standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Passion for teaching and helping students succeed academically. Experience with differentiated instruction and student assessment. Positive attitude and a commitment to fostering a love of learning.
