Job Description

Dates:

    approx: 8:00 a.m.

m., 8 hours daily (final times tbd based on final schedules)
Pay:
Paid at Para Current Step ParaProfessionals (Para Pro's) Paid at current step. Duties under the supervision of the teacher and summer school administrator. Strong desire to supervise and assist students in a variety of learning experiences to include reading, math, and enrichment. The 2026 Royal Summer Discovery is to provide in-person instruction to Kinder-8th-grade students in reading, mathematics, and enrichment, while fostering academic growth, building student confidence, and creating engaging learning experiences that prepare students for success in the upcoming school year. The staffing of this summer program is dependent on student attendance, and classrooms may be consolidated if attendance or enrollment is lower than expected.
Preferred Staff Qualifications:
Must be certified in American Sign Language Minimum of three years of experience working as an ASL interpreter Experience in working with at-risk and bilingual students Experience supervising and working with groups of students High School Diploma or G.E.D. certificate
