Compensation:
$675/credit hour
Worksite Location:
South campus. Weekday evening face-to-face courses. Overview /
Job Summary:
The Adjunct Faculty Instructor for Math provides expert instruction in mathematics courses. The instructor is responsible for delivering course content effectively, adhering to lesson plans, meeting course objectives, and maintaining professional academic standards. Your day-to-day responsibilities will vary, but are not limited to: Teaching assigned mathematics courses using effective instructional strategies to engage students and support their learning. Preparing, delivering, and grading assignments, exams, and other assessments to evaluate student progress. Providing timely feedback and support to students to foster their academic success. Maintaining accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress. Collaborating with faculty and staff to improve curriculum and instructional methods. Ensuring courses meet WSU Tech standards and reflect current educational best practices.
Education:
Master's degree in Mathematics or a closely related field from an accredited institution, required.
Preferred Experience & Skills:
Previous teaching experience in mathematics at the college level, preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage students and colleagues. Ability to utilize technology and online learning platforms to support diverse instructional modalities. Commitment to student success and a collaborative work environment.
