Topics of study for this course include equations and inequalities, complex numbers, exponential and logarithmic functions, systems of equations, matrices, sequences and series as well as the binomial theorem. Qualifications A master's degree in mathematics or mathematics education is required; a terminal degree in one of these areas is preferred. College Algebra is a 4-credit course offered in an in-person format.
