Job Description

Northern Oklahoma College Division of Mathematics is seeking adjunct instructors to teach Supplement to STEM Algebra beginning the Spring semester of 2026. Course is offered at night and can be from any of the three campuses and will broadcast to the other sites. Applicants must have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Mathematics or closely related field. A master's degree is preferred or 3 years teaching experience. Applicants should exhibit strong communication skills. Applications will be considered until the position is filled. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:
Teaching undergraduate supplement courses, up to a maximum of 12 credit hours per the fall and spring semesters, with the understanding that the numbers hours available will fluctuate from semester to semester based on the needs of the division. Effectively communicate with students.
Areas of Knowledge and Expertise Include:
A thorough understanding of the subject matter is required Prior teaching experience and classroom management is preferred. Ability to use technology in the classroom and online/computer is required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Subject to satisfactory Fair Credit Reporting Act Disclosure which includes a criminal background check.
