Job Description
Successful candidates for this open rank, tenure-track faculty position should have a Ph.D. in hearing sciences or related areas with research experience in cochlear implantation. Opportunities for collaboration are available with other VUMC and Vanderbilt University departments/programs including Neurosciences, Otolaryngology, Engineering, Data Science, as well as the Vanderbilt Brain Institute, Vanderbilt Institute for Imaging Science, Vanderbilt Genetics Institute, and Vanderbilt Kennedy Center, among others. Responsibilities include (1) developing a program of extramurally-funded research; (2) teaching at the graduate level; and (3) supervising graduate student research (AuD and Ph.D.) The qualified candidate will have Ph.D in hearing sciences or related areas with research experience in cochlear implantation.
