Job Description

The Department of Mathematics seeks candidates for adjunct faculty to teach courses as needed by the department. The successful candidate will actively engage undergraduate students. Teaching responsibilities mostly includes instruction in lower-level courses. Implement effective teaching strategies.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master Degree in Mathematics or 18 hours of graduate level mathematics.

Previous teaching experience
Key Competencies:
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to implement effective and innovative teaching strategies. Demonstrated commitment to service to the university, profession, and community.
Physical Requirements:
Able to lift 25 lbs and be able to perform a variety of physical tasks including lifting, bending, stooping, squatting, stair climbing and walking between buildings.
Job Conditions:
Indoor, classroom setting.
