TeacherCertification Position Summary:
This position is a good opportunity for anyone who enjoys teaching middle school leve l Language Arts/Social Studies . The individual will promote the kind of instruction and learning environment that will enable each student to master the skills appropriate to age, grade level and individual capacity.
Minimum Requirements:
Valid Alaska teaching certificate with an endorsement with appropriate endorsement Bachelor's or Master's degree in education.
Preferred Requirements:
Master's degree in education preferred. Experience teaching at the middle school level. Experience or ability to work with instructional technology is highly desirable. Experience working with team teaching, integrated content and project-based assessment. Previous experience working on a team in a professional learning community.
Compensation :
