Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Christian Middle School English Teacher (ELAR) to inspire and nurture students' love for language, literature, and effective communication within a faith-based educational environment. In this role, you will deliver engaging lessons that foster literacy, critical thinking, and creativity while integrating biblical principles and values. Your enthusiasm for teaching and commitment to student development will help cultivate a supportive classroom atmosphere where students thrive academically and spiritually. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to shape young minds through innovative instructional strategies aligned with Christian education standards. Responsibilities Instruct students utilizing English Language Arts (ELAR) curricula that incorporates biblical perspectives, fostering both academic growth and spiritual development. Design engaging lesson plans that utilize diverse instructional methods. Employ effective classroom management techniques to create a positive, respectful learning environment conducive to student success. Provide instruction that supports students' literacy skills, writing proficiency, and comprehension abilities, adjusting instruction accordingly to meet diverse learning needs. Requirements Bachelor's degree in English Education, Literacy Education, or a related field preferred. Prior classroom experience teaching middle school students in a Christian or private school setting is desirable. Demonstrated skills in classroom management, behavior management and organization. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with staff, students, parents, and the broader school community. Ability to mentor students academically and spiritually while fostering a nurturing environment rooted in Christian values. Pay:
$17.00 - $18.00 per hour
