Job Description

Youth Afterschool Instructor Athena Coding Chandler, AZ 85225 Posted about 9 hours New Athena Coding partners with local schools to bring enrichment programs to children K-6. Our classes are designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and confidence. We're looking for part-time instructors who will lead afterschool classes in: Filmmaking, Chemistry (Science), and/or Coding & Game Design with Scratch/Python/Minecraft Studio. Classes begin in August, running until early October. All lesson plans and materials needed to teach will be provided.
Responsibilities:
Lead afterschool classes for 10-15 kids following the provided lesson plans. Set up and clean up class materials before and after each session. Maintain a fun, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications:
Experience working with children in any capacity (such as camp counseling, tutoring or teaching) is a plus but not required. Interest or knowledge in STEM, coding, creatives, arts, or education is a plus. Reliable, punctual, and comfortable managing a small group. No in-depth experience needed.
