Responsibilities Supervise children during before and after school hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Implement age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development Manage classroom behavior using positive behavior management techniques to foster respectful interactions Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating environment conducive to learning and play Collaborate with parents, guardians, and team members to support each child's individual needs and progress Follow all first aid protocols, including administering basic first aid or CPR when necessary, and operate AED devices as trained Facilitate youth group activities, outdoor play sessions, and age-specific educational programs that encourage teamwork and creativity Uphold all safety standards related to childcare, including child supervision during indoor and outdoor activities Qualifications Prior experience working with children in childcare, daycare, camp settings, or youth programs is highly preferred Demonstrated classroom management skills with the ability to guide young children effectively Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management strategies Valid certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED operation; additional certifications in special education or Christian counseling are a plus Experience facilitating youth group activities or outdoor work experience is advantageous Strong communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members Ability to work flexible hours during before and after school times; reliable transportation is beneficial Passion for nurturing young children's growth through engaging teaching methods such as tutoring or theater experience Join us in creating a joyful learning environment where children can thrive!
