Job Description

E-PLEX is an education complex with multiple different facilities. Our Diamond Bar branch includes afterschool, academy, art, music, science, and college counseling. Currently, we are looking for middle school math teachers who would like to work with students in 6~8th grades.
Job requirements:
Having a range of previous experiences in the classroom setting(preferred) Bachelor's degree or higher (required) 1+ year experience teaching middle school math and English (highly preferred) Able to teach pre-algebra, algebra 1 and geometry (required) Management, organizational, and communication skills Able to commit to teaching until the end of the academic school year (minimum) Job duties/responsibilities include, but are not limited to : Provide homework assistance and academic support to middle school students Monitor and support students' grades, organization, and study habits Lead engaging enrichment activities, games, and group projects Create a safe, structured, and positive environment for students Encourage respectful behavior and positive peer relationships Communicate with the Director and Associate Director regarding student progress and needs Under the guidance of the Director or other assigned staff, implement regular assessments and analyze student performance to monitor student progress Give clear instruction and guidance regarding topics students are learning in school Implement good behavior and good classroom management. Hours Monday - Friday (1:30 PM - 6:00 PM) and as needed
