Job Description

Arborland Montessori Children's Academy is looking for an After School Teacher to work with children either 0-3, 3-6 years old or 6-12 years old. We are a high achieving private Montessori school with young and motivated students. Our two beautiful campuses are located in excellent residential neighborhoods. We expect every child to be safe and learn happily. Our After School programs are structured. Elementary is homework based and structured with thematic enrichment. Our 0-6 year old After School Childcare program is play based with enrichment lessons. Teachers will have the opportunity to work more hours as the need arises. Responsibilities:
supervise during indoor and outdoor activities help students understand and complete their homework and classwork (elementary) develop and implement structured indoor and outdoor lesson plans for after school class follow and enforce all school rules and policies to keep students safe prepare daily snack Requirements to work with 6-12 year old students: experience working with elementary aged students ability to help with 1st-6th grade academic homework friendly yet firm, caring, responsible Requirements to work with 3-6 year old students: At least 6 completed ECE units and either enrollment in another 6 ECE or completion of 12 total ECE units ability to plan and execute arts and crafts activities friendly yet firm, caring, responsible
