  • 4:00 pm Position Overview Tree House After School Programs is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic After School Instructor to lead engaging enrichment activities for students during after school hours.
This role is ideal for an educator who enjoys working with elementary-aged students, can create a supportive and interactive learning environment, and is passionate about student development through hands-on experiences. Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver engaging after school lessons and activities aligned with the program's focus area.
  • Introduce age-appropriate skills and concepts through interactive projects and guided practice.
  • Lead students through structured activities, collaborative work, and creative exercises.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment.
  • Adapt lessons and activities to meet varying skill levels and learning styles.
  • Manage classroom behavior professionally during after school hours.
  • Communicate effectively with program coordinators and school staff.
  • Track student participation and progress when required by the program. Qualifications
  • Experience teaching or working with children in an educational or after school setting.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • Ability to explain concepts in a clear and age-appropriate manner.
  • Ability to lead structured group activities.
  • Dependable, punctual, and professional. Preferred Qualifications
  • Background in Education, Child Development, or a related field.
  • Prior experience teaching enrichment programs (such as STEM, arts, languages, tutoring, or recreation).
  • Experience working with elementary students.
Compensation & Term $90 per class. 8-week program commitment.
