This is a fun and rewarding opportunity for college students, aspiring educators, and individuals who enjoy working with children and want hands-on experience in an educational environment. Position Overview As an After-School Enrichment Instructor, you will lead engaging enrichment classes for students in kindergarten through sixth grade directly on elementary school campuses. No curriculum development is required. We provide the training, lesson plans, curriculum, and program materials you need to successfully lead each class. Programs may include STEAM, art, engineering, robotics, coding, chess, cooking, sports, and other hands-on enrichment activities. Qualifications Successful candidates must:
Enjoy working with elementary-aged children Have previous experience working with children in a school, camp, childcare, tutoring, coaching, volunteer, or similar setting Be energetic, patient, dependable, and comfortable leading a group of students Be able to follow lesson plans, safety procedures, and program instructions Have reliable transportation and access to a personal vehicle Be willing to travel to assigned school locations Have access to a computer, printer, internet connection, and a phone or digital camera Communicate professionally with students, families, school staff, and Dream Enrichment Classes team members Complete all required background-check and employment-clearance requirements Background-check results may affect eligibility for employment.
Compensation Teaching Rate:
$20-$23 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and program assignment
Training, Meetings, and Preparation:
$16.90 per hour
Cell Phone Stipend:
Provided for eligible employees
Pay Increase Opportunity:
