Qualified applicants should be able to effectively teach language arts, writing, science, math, and social studies as well as problem solving and creative thinking. Students should be taught to see connections between what they are learning in the classroom and the world around them. Candidates should be self-motivated, pay attention to detail, and enjoy working in a collaborative environment. The integration of interactive lessons and the use of Promethean Whiteboards are required. . Excellent classroom management skills and outstanding parent communication is a must. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree, successful experience teaching in a classroom setting and a valid California teaching credential. A Master's degree is a plus.
