$50 In this role, you will: Lead an engaging after-school Creative Writing program for students from Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 8th grade Ensure student safety and well-being at all times Foster creativity, confidence, self-expression, and communication skills through writing activities Plan and lead engaging creative writing lessons, storytelling exercises, and skill-building activities Adapt instruction to different ages, writing levels, learning styles, and interests Encourage students to explore their imagination, develop their own ideas, and express themselves through writing Facilitate positive social interactions, collaboration, and peer feedback Effectively manage student behavior using positive reinforcement and an encouraging approach Maintain accurate attendance and incident records Prepare and organize writing materials and activities, keeping the classroom space clean, organized, and safe Requirements 18+ years of age Ability and willingness to complete 3 hours of online training prior to the start date. (Concussion Training, Mandated Reporter, First Aid & CPR) Authorization to work in the US Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
