www.codingwithkids.com/jobs What you'll do Teach 1-hour after-school coding classes to elementary-age students Follow our ready-to-use curriculum and lesson plans Help students learn through games, projects, and hands-on activities Create a fun, positive classroom environment Set up and pack up classroom equipment Communicate with our team about your classes and students Classes may include Scratch, Minecraft, Roblox, Python, robotics, and other coding topics. You don't need to know all of these—we'll train you on the curriculum you'll teach. What we're looking for You might be a great fit if you: Have some coding experience Enjoy working with children Are friendly, patient, and dependable Are comfortable speaking to a small group Can commit to showing up on time and being prepared Have reliable transportation to local schools Teaching experience is helpful but not required. Experience with children through tutoring, camps, volunteering, coaching, babysitting, mentoring, or education is a plus. Your compensation includes paid time for: Teaching Class preparation Classroom setup and cleanup The base rate is $17- 22/hour . In addition, you will earn a $20
- 30 daily performance bonus for each qualifying class location as long as you fulfill your professional responsibilities. Teaching at two locations in one day means you can earn the bonus twice. This means instructors can earn up to $40
- 60 per hour of teaching time , depending on the class and performance bonus.
