Curious Jane is
Hiring:
After School Instructor for Greenwood Village, CO location on Wednesdays. Must be available between 3-5pm Curious Jane is looking for enthusiastic, creative, and responsible team members to join us as After School Instructors at various schools in the Denver (Park Hill, Virginia Village and Greenwood Village areas). Must be available at least one day of the week Mon
  • Thursday between the hours 3:00pm
  • 5:00pm starting at the end of August. About the Role We run weekly after school programs that meet once per week for 1 hour
  • however you are paid for minimum 2 hours per week + any additional prep the class requires.
There is also opportunity to help out 1-2x per month at our evening or weekend events. About Curious Jane Curious Jane runs project-based summer camps for kids entering K-6th grades, along with after-school programs, birthday parties, and crafting events throughout the Denver area. All of our programs are hands-on, colorful, fun, and inventive — designed to build confidence through making things! Key Responsibilities Arrive on time (if after school class starts at 3:30pm you are expected to be at the school 20-30 mins prior) Lead activities for kids Set up and break down craft stations (tables, bins, materials) Support participants with patience, encouragement, and clear instruction Bring energy and enthusiasm to every event Review project curriculum (sent at least 48 hours in advance) Manage 12-15 students at once Compensation $25
  • 30 per hour (based on role and experience) Includes 30-60 minutes for prep and clean-up (travel time not included) Requirements Background check First Aid / CPR Reliable transportation Previous experience in class / camp setting working with school aged students
Location Requirement:
