Full Job Description Description:
Frassati Catholic Academy, a classical Catholic school in Thornton, CO, is hiring a part-time middle school reading intervention teacher for the 2026-27 school year. The teacher would work approximately sixteen hours per week supporting our middle school students who need extra help in reading. The position would mostly have the teacher working in the middle school classrooms supporting students in real-time with their learning needs. The teacher would also collaborate with our middle school teachers to assist them in planning well to support the students in the classroom on a daily basis. The intervention teacher would be one member of our intervention team, which consists of two other intervention teachers and a director.
Requirements:
The intervention teacher must be a passionate and practicing Catholic in full communion and agreement with the Catholic Church. The teacher must have a bachelor's degree in education. Additional certifications in reading or special education are preferred. The teacher must be passionate about supporting middle school students with their learning needs.
