Job Description

Naptime and AfterCare Teacher (11:00 AM - 5:30 PM) Fraser Woods Montessori School is seeking an individual to work with our three-year-olds in the afternoon and work as a member of our After-School Care Program. The details of the position are as follows: Monday through Friday, 11-3:00 Help set up the napping rooms Support the 3-year-olds at lunch time in a primary classroom Walk the nappers from their classroom to the nap room. Supervise the non-nappers and supervise their quiet play indoors. Supervise the non-nappers outside or in the gym. Or Supervise the children in the nap room while they nap. Fill in for co-teachers' breaks - lavatory, lunch, snack, etc. Cleaning and arranging the classroom space each day so that it is ready for the next day. . Monday through Friday, 3-5:30
During Aftecare:
Work with our aftercare teacher to create a warm, nurturing, and safe environment for children ages 3-12. Or Work with our aftercare teacher to create a warm, nurturing, and safe environment for children ages 15 months to age 3 Caring for and supervising groups of children. Supervising activities for children We have a variety of projects and activities available for all age ranges Candidates should bring their own enthusiasm and interests to our space, too The Aftercare program takes place both indoors and outdoors throughout the school year Top candidates should be caring, empathetic, compassionate, perceptive, hard-working, and organized.
