6th Grade Middle School Language Arts Teacher

```Duties```

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for language arts classes
• Teach students various aspects of language arts, including reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary
• Incorporate learning technologies into classroom instruction to enhance student engagement and understanding
• Foster a creative writing environment that encourages students to express themselves through written work
• Provide individualized instruction and support to students with special education needs
• Mentor and guide students in their language arts development, offering feedback and constructive criticism
• Copy edit student work to improve grammar, punctuation, and overall writing quality
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop interdisciplinary projects and activities
• Organize and maintain a classroom environment conducive to learning ```Requirements```
• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Valid teaching certification in Language Arts or related subject area
• Strong organizational skills to effectively manage lesson planning, grading, and administrative tasks
• Proficiency in educational technology tools and instructional design principles
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and administrators
• Demonstrated passion for education and a commitment to student success
