Job Description

Requirements:
Full time VPK instructor Must have all the required DCF Courses and Certificates Must be able to communicate effectively with parents and students Must have one of the following: CDA, FCCPC, or Certification in Early Child Education Must have the required VPK training/courses Must be fluent in both English and Spanish Experience is a plus
Responsibilities:
In this role as a Lead VPK Teacher, you will be responsible for: Classroom management to create a positive learning environment Developing and implementing engaging lesson plans Providing quality childcare and fostering a safe space for students Utilizing your experience in early childhood education to support student development Communicating effectively with students, parents, and colleagues Incorporating curriculum development to enhance learning experiences Applying your knowledge of child development to tailor teaching strategies Implementing behavior management techniques to support student growth Using your skills in literacy education to promote language development Collaborating with colleagues to support the overall educational program These responsibilities align with the core, premium, and relevant skills required for this position, ensuring a comprehensive approach to teaching and nurturing young learners.
