Responsibilities Supervise children during after-school hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Plan and facilitate engaging activities including arts and crafts, sports, outdoor games, and youth group programs Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies Provide first aid and respond appropriately to medical emergencies following established protocols, including CPR and AED operation Support children with special educational needs by adapting activities to meet diverse learning styles and requirements Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other staff to communicate student progress and address individual needs Lead outdoor work activities such as sports coaching or nature exploration to promote physical activity and environmental awareness Qualifications Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices Certification in CPR and familiarity with first aid protocols required; training provided if necessary Strong classroom management skills with the ability to handle challenging behaviors effectively Experience facilitating youth programs or camp activities is a plus Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining high energy levels Excellent communication skills with a passion for mentoring and supporting young learners Join us in creating a fun, safe, and enriching environment where children can thrive after school hours!
