Salary:
$44,000•50,000 per year , based on experience and qualifications Join Our Team! Better Life Academy is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and Florida-certified teacher to join our growing team in Leesburg, Florida. We are a private school committed to providing a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment for students with diverse learning needs, including students with autism, learning disabilities, ADHD, and general education students. Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based instruction. Create a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment. Differentiate instruction to meet individual student needs. Collaborate with Teacher Assistants, RBTs, therapists, and administration. Monitor student progress and maintain accurate academic records. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians. Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events. Implement classroom management strategies that promote student success. Maintain compliance with school policies and state requirements. QualificationsRequired Valid Florida Professional or Temporary Teaching Certificate. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Passion for helping students reach their full potential. Preferred Experience working with students with exceptional learning needs.
