Qualifications:

Minimum of 18 years of age High School Diploma or GED Resident or U.S. citizen Completed 40 hours of child care training First Aid/CPR completed Have minimum 2 years experience with children 5 - 12 years of age in a group setting. Must speak

English Responsibilities:

Caring for and teaching a group of children Complete appropriate lesson plans on a weekly basis Assisting children with homework upon arrival from elementary school Providing snack for children and proper pick-up of room after snack time Providing afternoon activities for after school children such as table games, arts and crafts, science/math activities, computer workshops, planned playground activities Providing proper supervision and positive interaction at the playground and in the classroom Cleaning classroom and picking up after yourself before signing out time sheet Completing classroom logs
