Competitive salary Free food & snacks Free uniforms Opportunity for advancement Training & development Job Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated instructor to guide learners through multiple sessions of an intensive SAT/ACT readiness course. Responsibilities Facilitate the prepared curriculum from June 8th - July 30th with prior availability for training and onboarding Foster a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation, respect, and teamwork. Monitor student behavior and provide guidance to ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for all participants Collaborate with fellow instructors and management staff to troubleshoot challenges and enhance the overall program experience Assess student progress through informal observations and provide constructive feedback to support their development Ensure compliance with program policies and safety protocols Required Qualifications Prior experience teaching or tutoring students in preparation for the SAT or ACT Ability to provide instruction on both the Math and English sections of both exams as well as the Science section of the ACT Strong communication skills with the ability to empower and connect with young learners Creative problem-solving skills to adapt activities for diverse learning styles and needs Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment University experience or current enrollment in higher education program Demonstrated enthusiasm for education and youth development Ample availability Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm Availability on Saturdays from 12pm-4pm Preferred Qualifications Secondary teaching experience and/or a teaching certificate Experience in working with homeschool/alternative learning students Experience helping students with college admissions essays and completing the Common App Willingness to continue work in the upcoming school year This paid role offers a rewarding chance to make a meaningful impact during the summer months.
