Teaches one subject, or a group of subjects, such as math and science; works with one class all year or teaches different classes of students throughout the day. May mentor students, coach a school team or advise a student club. May specialize in working with students learning English or students with learning disabilities or emotional and behavioral disorders.

Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the requirements of the curriculum
- Educate students by planning and delivering instructional activities
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment for students
- Use various teaching methods to ensure student understanding and engagement
- Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, tests, and other assessments
- Provide constructive feedback to students and parents on student performance
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a supportive and inclusive school community
- Manage classroom behavior and maintain discipline in accordance with school policies
- Provide first aid and ensure the safety and well-being of students
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Valid teaching certification or license
- Experience in behavior management and classroom management techniques
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices
- Familiarity with early childhood education methodologies
- Ability to create a nurturing and supportive learning environment
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and students
- Experience in tutoring or providing additional support to students is a plus
