• Part-time Oxford Academy Preschool is seeking a dependable and caring After-School Teacher/Floater to support our classrooms and help ensure a safe, smooth transition during closing hours.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children of varying age groups in a nurturing environment.

Friday:

2:00 PM

• 6:00 PM (After-School) Option for extended hours starting at 10:00 AM for candidates seeking more hours

Key Responsibilities:

Support Lead and Assistant Teachers as assigned with focus on After School Assist with classroom management and daily routines Engage children in play and learning activities Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy classroom environment Follow all safety, supervision, and hygiene policies Report to the front office daily for classroom assignment Help with closing duties, ensuring all rooms are clean and secure

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent (CDA or ECE coursework preferred) Previous experience in a licensed childcare setting preferred Ability to work consistent after-school hours Strong communication skills and team-player mindset Must meet Georgia DECAL background and health screening requirements Must be 18 years or older Ability to stand, walk, and actively engage with children for extended periods Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and assist in emergency situations
