Job Description

Job Overview - Job Begins This Fall - August 2026 We are seeking 2 passionate and dedicated Homeschool Teachers for a 5th and 7th grader in a personalized learning environment. Teachers must have respect for Muslim faith. This role offers an exciting opportunity to craft engaging lessons, adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs, and foster a love of learning within a home-based setting. The ideal candidate will bring energy, creativity, and a strong commitment to supporting children's academic growth and development. As a Homeschool Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of each student, ensuring they thrive academically and socially. Duties Develop comprehensive, age-appropriate curricula tailored to each student's learning style, interests, and educational goals Design and implement engaging lesson plans across core subjects such as literacy, math, science, and social studies Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other educational technology tools to deliver lessons and track progress Adapt teaching methods for students with special needs or disabilities, ensuring inclusive access to education Assess student performance through formative and summative evaluations, including standardized testing preparation Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management techniques to create a positive learning environment Collaborate with parents or guardians to monitor progress, discuss challenges, and adjust instructional strategies as needed Skills Expertise in curriculum development and lesson planning across multiple subjects Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and age-appropriate teaching strategies Experience working with children Classroom management skills to foster an engaging and disciplined learning environment Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and educational stakeholders Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and tutoring techniques to support academic achievement Ability to adapt instructional approaches for different learning styles and abilities Knowledge of Montessori or other alternative education philosophies is a plus Writing skills for creating clear instructional materials, reports, and progress updates Join us in transforming education by providing personalized learning experiences that empower students to reach their full potential!
Pay:
$50.00 - $60.00 per hour
