As an After School Group Leader with Kamaʻāina Kids , you'll spend your afternoons creating a place where elementary-age keiki feel safe, included, and excited to be there. You'll lead games, plan activities, help with homework, and build the kind of relationships that can make a real difference in a child's day. Monday-Friday afternoons Most shifts are approximately 1:30 PM-5:30 PM Wednesdays begin around 12:30 PM for early release No evenings No weekends No holiday work This schedule can be a great fit for college students, future teachers, coaches, retirees, parents returning to the workforce , or anyone looking for rewarding part-time work. What Your Afternoons Will Look Like No two days are exactly the same. You might organize an outdoor game, help a student finish their homework, set up an art project, lead a STEM activity, or simply be the encouraging adult a child needs that afternoon.

You'll:

Lead games, recreation, and outdoor activities Plan arts, crafts, STEM, and other enrichment activities Support children with homework and schoolwork Encourage teamwork, confidence, and positive behavior Build positive relationships with keiki and their families Help maintain a safe, welcoming, and organized program Who We're Looking For You don't need years of childcare experience to make an impact here.
