Our Youth Program Leaders work with elementary-age students in our licensed before- and after-school programs located throughout Bowling Green and Warren County. What You'll Do As a Youth Program Leader, you will help create a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for children before and/or after the school day.
Responsibilities include:
Actively supervise children and help maintain a safe, positive environment. Lead and participate in games, crafts, recreational activities, and enrichment opportunities. Build positive relationships with students and encourage participation. Use positive behavior guidance and redirection strategies. Work as part of a team with Site Supervisors and other program staff. Maintain required staff-to-child ratios and follow Kentucky child care licensing requirements. Assist with daily routines, including arrival, dismissal, snacks/meals, transitions, and cleanup. Serve as a positive and professional role model for students. Follow Community Education policies, procedures, and safety expectations. Complete required child care training and attend mandatory staff meetings.
