Job Description

JUNIOR ACADEMY LEAD TEACHER ENGLISH STATION CAMPUS MONDAY - FRIDAY
We seek to hire a Junior Academy Lead Teacher who shall: Provide spiritual leadership to the students entrusted to his/her care Teach the curriculum provided by the school Use instructional materials and methods which are consistent with the school's educational and Biblical philosophy Create a classroom environment conducive to learning Seek to communicate clearly, accurately and often Handle conflict and manage with objectively when conflicts arise Use Matthew 18 principle when needing to share concerns Communicate with parents regularly Attend and participate in scheduled meetings as required Take advantage of opportunities to grow professionally Keep anecdotal records of unusual events in the life of a child Maintain good working relationships with other faculty Maintain working hours assigned by the Junior Academy Director Follow all school policies Accept teaching position assigned by the Junior Academy Director and any extra duties The candidate shall possess characteristics that reflect: A strong clear Christian testimony with a mature, godly spirit A daily example of the highest Christian virtue both in and out of school Commitment to faithful attendance and support of a church whose beliefs are in agreement with the
Statement of Faith Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred but not required Experience leading a classroom and lesson planning experience preferred The candidate shall prior to start date provide/successfully complete the following: 1. TB Test 2. CPR & First Aid Training 3. Criminal Records Check 4. Child Abuse and Neglect Check (CAN)
