This role involves delivering engaging lessons in 6th grade English, integrating computer technology into teaching practices, and fostering a positive learning environment for middle school students. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education, skilled in classroom management, and capable of designing effective lesson plans that inspire student learning and growth. Duties Deliver comprehensive English language and literature instruction tailored to middle school students' needs. Incorporate computer technology into lesson plans to enhance learning experiences and develop digital literacy skills. Manage classroom activities to create a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and educational goals. Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and class participation, providing constructive feedback. Foster a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation, curiosity, and confidence. Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching strategies and contribute to school-wide educational initiatives. Maintain accurate records of student grades, performance, and other relevant data. Experience Prior experience teaching middle school students is preferred. Strong background in English language arts or literature education.
