Position Category Middle School Classroom Instructor Title Middle School JAG Instructor Description The JAG KY Specialist/Teacher delivers a student-centered program preparing students for postsecondary education, training, and employment. Responsibilities include teaching 3-4 daily JAG classes using the JAG curriculum, project-based learning, leadership development, career counseling, and follow-up services for graduates. Candidates must hold a valid teaching or adjunct certificate, possess technology/data-entry skills, and devote 100% of the workday to the JAG model. Duties include recruiting and maintaining 45-65 eligible students, documenting services in JAGForce, coordinating employer/community partnerships, leading the Student Career Association, organizing field trips, guest speakers, and leadership events, maintaining records, completing reports, attending all required trainings, and collaborating with school staff, parents, employers, and community partners to support student success.
