After School Program Counselors and Group Leader

About us To physically and spiritually enhance the well-being of all children participating in the after school enrichment program provided by the USTC After School Program. Our training combines all aspects of the spirit, mind and body to provide an outlet for excess energy, self-expression, and the means of acquiring skills needed in later life. ~ Since 1997 After School Counselor Positions USTC After School Program (Beverly and Lynn) is an EEC licensed school age childcare program with over 28 years of experience of helping students with homework as well as providing enriching activities for better development. We are seeking the following positions for the 2026-2027 school year: Group Leader (Part-Time) Help day-to-day supervision such as creating and leading group activities/games and arts and crafts, homework assistance (K-8), provide and encourage a clean, positive, safe environment for students. The working hours for this position are 1-6pm during school days. Supervisor (Part-Time or Full time) Ensures all group activity runs smoothly and as planned, performs paperwork such as driving charts and attendance charts, communicates effectively with all staff, performs staff evaluation, and leads all fire and safety drills. This position must also communicate well with parents and address behavior issues or other concerns they may have. The working hours for this position are 12-6:30pm during school days. All staff must be registered with the EEC PQ Registry upon hire. 7D Driver (Experience No Required) Transport students to and from school or educational setting based on assigned or covering routes. Routes could go as far as Beverly and Lynn depending upon where the student goes to school. Operate vehicle in accordance with all Federal and State traffic laws Complete weekly documentation and record keeping as required by program Assist students to safely enter and exit the vehicle as needed. Operate vehicle in accordance with all Federal and State traffic laws Maintain vehicle clean and refill fuel weekly Qualifications 3 or more years of general driving experience a must Active driver's license with safe driving record 7D preferred, but not required (USTC will assist in obtaining) Must be able to communicate effectively and clearly in English with students, parents, teachers, USTC staff Must be able to pass a drug screen, CORI, and other background checks Must enjoy working with children, and always possess the ability to show patience and empathy
