We are currently seeking a dedicated, creative, and warm middle school math/science teacher for our boys division. This role is ideal for a current graduate student in education, someone interested in exploring becoming a teacher, or a recently retired teacher who isnt quite ready to leave it all behind! Responsibilities include Create a warm, caring, and safe environment Students are at the heart of what we do. When they know that they are cared for, students come ready to learn. This includes building nurturing relationships with students and providing age-appropriate levels of student supervision, classroom rules, and routines. Create and implement lesson plans You will be responsible for teaching Math and Science to middle school boys. Our curriculum is aligned with Massachusetts state standards. Your creativity will shine in the activities you plan to engage student interest in the content. Monitor and communicate student progress Provide feedback to students and their families on academic, social, and behavioral progress. Maintain appropriate records. Create two-way communication channels with families so they are updated on their childs progress. Other responsibilities As assigned by the Head of School. You are passionate about educating children. You are creative and think outside the box when it comes to challenging young minds.
