Hanover Public Schools Schedule:
MondayFriday, Variable Hours Based on Program Schedule and Enrollment, 2:30pm 6:00pm. (Early Release Days 12:30 - 6:00pm).The Hanover Public Schools Office of Family & Community Engagement (FACE) is seeking part-time Instructors to support the FACE Before and After School Programs.

Instructors support the daily operations of the programs in collaboration with the Program Coordinator, Assistants and Support Staff. Instructors may also support FACE Summer Enrichment and Recreation Programs as well as community events. Before and After School Programs are offered at Cedar School (K & 1), Center School (2-4) and Hanover Middle School (5- 8). Daily Operations
  • Promote and model positive behavior for students that supports a safe, inclusive environment.
  • Oversee daily operations of programs including attendance, dismissal, student engagement, supervision, and communication.
  • Ensure program quality, compliance with safety standards, and professional conduct
  • Maintain confidentiality of all student and family information
  • Support the social and emotional development of all students
  • Develop and maintain professional working relationships with students, families and colleagues
  • Maintain confidentiality of student and family information
  • Communicate in a professional and respectful manner at all times
  • Upholds the values of the FACE organization in all program operations Instructor Requirements
  • Strong to attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exercise sound judgement in decision making
  • Demonstrates exemplary customer service through active engagement with students and families
  • Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and work collaboratively with a team
  • Adaptable to the changing needs of the programs
  • Plan, manage and lead small and large group activities
  • Experience in guiding students in structured environments
  • Participation in required medical trainings (CPR, First Aid & EpiPen)
  • Completion of 10 hours of job-related professional development
  • Prior childcare experience of 1 year required
