This position includes case management of students requiringspecialized ABA supports within a small therapeutic learning environment. The program goal is toprovide students with the skill instruction they need to be successful. A strong background indesign and implementation of ABA curriculum is essential to this role.

Responsibilities include: Planning and implementing curriculum aligned with Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks. Maintenance of individual student program books. Planning and implementation of discrete trial programming. Plans and supervises assignments for paraprofessional staff assigned to theclassroom or to specific students under the teacher's scope of direct or indirectsupervision. Completing Educational Assessments, VBMAPPS, collaborative FBAs, MCAS Altportfolios, etc. Act as liaison for a caseload of students, to ensure full implementation of studentIEPs, monitor student progress, support student programming, and alert theEvaluation Team Leader of any need to convene a Team meeting. Participation in the development of Individualized Education Programs, ProgressReports and other formalized documentation requirements. Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to thematurity and interests of the students. Assist the administration in implementing all policies and rules governing studentlife and conduct, and, for the classroom, develop reasonable rules for classroombehavior and procedures, and maintain order in the classroom throughimplementation of positive behavioral supports, as well as implementation ofindividual student behavior intervention plans. Be available to students and parent for education-related purposes outside the instructional day when required or requested to do so under reasonable terms. Meet regularly with the Program BCBA, Evaluation Team Leader and SpecialEducation Program Coordinator regarding issues and concerns around studentneeds. Perform other duties and responsibilities consistent with this role/position asassigned by the Director of Pupil Services, Special Education Coordinator.
