Position Overview:
Wellan Montessori School is seeking an experienced Technology Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a full time position beginning in late August 2026. Wellan's Technology Teacher teaches classes inputer science, information technology, digital citizenship, and STEAM, including coding, 3D ing, robotics, and other related technologies, to students in grades 2-8. Through a project-based, hands-on approach, the Technology Teacher designs and implements an engaging, developmentally appropriate curriculum that fosters creativity, critical thinking, and real-world problem-solving. The Technology Teacher encourages students to exploreplex ideas, think independently and collaboratively, and develop resilience through experimentation and thoughtful risk-taking in a safe, innovative learning environment. In partnership with classroom teachers, the Technology Teacher integrates Technology Literacy Standards across subject areas. The Technology Teacher inspires students to pursue excellence, build confidence in their abilities, and approach challenges with persistence and integrity. By guiding students to use technology as creators, not just consumers, the Technology Teacher helps them develop the skills and mindset needed to contribute meaningfully to theirmunities, build responsible technology habits, and safely navigate an ever-evolving world of AI. Technology Teacher:
Coordinates several after-school technology programs
Serves on Wellan's Technology Support Team, providing technology support to the schoolmunity The successful candidate isanized, flexible, and collaborative; demonstrates strong classroom management skills;municates effectively; and is passionate about empowering students as capable, creative, and responsible users of technology.
Hours and Supervision:
Full Time, 40 hours per week, with attendance at night and weekend events outside of regular hours as needed.

Qualifications:
Background in Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Education, Robotics, Digital Fabrication, or a related field.
Experience teaching or working with elementary and middle school-aged children (Grades 1-8).
Familiarity with educational technologies such as LEGO Robotics, coding platforms, 3D ers, or similar STEM tools.
Strongmunication skills and a passion for creating engaging learning experiences for children.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative schoolmunity.
Montessori familiarity is a plus, but not required.
