Full Job Description Hours:
The School-Age Teacher will open the Center at 6:30 am and walk the children to a local public school at 8:40 am. They will also pick the children up from school at 3:45 pm and remain at the Center until 6:00 pm (closing).Responsibilities:
The School-Age Teacher is responsible for creating, managing, and implementing the daily routine and activities of the school age children (ages 5 to 12) in the Before and After School Care Program and the Summer Program. Responsibilities also include supervising the children, providing structure and programming, developing lesson plans and activities, escorting school age children to and from a local Baltimore County Public elementary school, preparing breakfast and snack, and providing care for the children when public schools are closed.Education Requirements:
Completion of the 45-hour early childhood development course is required. In addition, the 45-hour school age curriculum course is also required.Job Types:
