Job Description

Under the direction of the Base Director, the Base Teacher is responsible for planning and assisting with the daily program as it relates to children and their classroom activities. Major emphasis is on program excellence and developing quality care of the highest standard. The Base Teacher will assist ongoing program continuity by ensuring that scheduled program and facility use plans are followed and applies MSDE regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

Incumbent must be 18 years of age and possess 90 hours Child Development and School Age Curriculum Course; must meet all MSDE regulations and have experience leading groups of children OR 90 hours in Early Childhood, Child Development or a related field with a plan of study leading to a credential AND two years of experience related to caring for children.
