Job Description

Lucy School is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic After School Sports Teacher to help expand our after-school athletics and recreation program for students in Preschool through Middle School. This part-time position will lead engaging, age-appropriate sports and movement classes that promote teamwork, confidence, physical fitness, and fun in a supportive, inclusive environment. Schedule Monday-Thursday 3:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. Additional planning time as needed Responsibilities Lead after-school sports classes for students of varying ages. Introduce students to a variety of individual and team sports. Create a positive, encouraging, and inclusive environment. Ensure student safety and appropriate supervision at all times. Communicate effectively with school staff and families as needed. Set up and store equipment before and after classes. Qualifications Experience working with children in an educational, recreational, or coaching setting. Enthusiasm for teaching sports and promoting healthy lifestyles. Strong classroom and group management skills. Ability to foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and confidence. CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred.
