Job Description
Middle School Classroom Teacher - MathematicsRSU 21 serves 600 employees and 2,300 students across three communities and has an annual budget of $65 million. As a Classroom Teacher, you will serve as a dynamic leader, effective educator, and inspirational influence within your classroom. You will deliver measurable results through high-quality instructional planning, curriculum design, and instruction to improve student outcomes.
Key ResponsibilitiesPlan instruction using approved curriculum, high-impact instructional strategies, and student data.
Establish a respectful, safe, and student-centered learning environment.
Engage students using varied instructional strategies to meet individual learning needs.
Set ambitious goals, analyze data, and provide timely feedback to students and stakeholders.
Collaborate with colleagues to improve instructional practice and student learning.
Support Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives at all levels.
Demonstrate professionalism, leadership, and strong communication.
