First Lutheran Children's Programs is looking for patient, fun loving and compassionate teachers who have experience working with children ages 5 to 12 years old. The First Lutheran Children's Programs teacher will help lead developmentally appropriate activities that encourage healthy, physical, emotional, and social development for children.

Responsibilities:

Assist co-teachers in planning age appropriate activities. Foster a classroom environment of safety and respect. Perform daily cleaning routines to keep the classroom and facility sanitary and safe. Prepare and serve snacks. Keep parents informed and updated on their child's progress and daily activities.

Requirements:

BS or AS in Early Childhood Education Will accept Child Development Credential (CDA) with a High School Diploma Will accept High School diploma/GED for the right candidate 1+ years of experience working in Child Development or a related field Ability to work creatively and flexibly Preferred Qualifications CPR and First Aid Certification Experience working with school aged children Why you'll love working at
