A Middle or High School Teacher teaches middle school students, usually in grades 6 - 12, in a public or private school. Teaches one subject, or a group of subjects, such as math and science; works with one class all year or teaches different classes of students throughout the day. May specialize in working with students learning English or students with learning disabilities or emotional and behavioral disorders.

Responsibilities:
Assist co-teachers in planning age appropriate activities. Foster a classroom environment of safety and respect. Perform daily cleaning routines to keep the classroom and facility sanitary and safe. Prepare and serve snacks. Keep parents informed and updated on their child's progress and daily activities.Requirements:
BS or AS in Early Childhood Education Will accept Child Development Credential (CDA) with a High School Diploma Will accept High School diploma/GED for the right candidate 1+ years of experience working in Child Development or a related field Ability to work creatively and flexibly Preferred Qualifications CPR and First Aid Certification Experience working with school aged children Why you'll love working atFirst Lutheran Children's Programs:
