Immediately Job Description Windham Middle School is looking for an social studies and science teacher to join one of our five person 8th grade teams this coming school year. The highly qualified candidate will teach content and skills in social studies and science utilizing a course of study adopted by the Board of Education and other appropriate learning activities. Moreover, the selected candidate will adapt social studies and science materials and methods to develop relevant sequential assignments which guide and challenge our students. We're looking for someone who will encourages students to think independently, develop standards for critical analysis, assess and evaluates students' progress in social studies and science skills, communicate with parents in a variety of ways, and participate in curriculum development as well as in faculty committees and sponsorship of student activities.
