Holly Area Schools The Position Education and Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College/University. Secondary Teaching Certification. Michigan Teacher Endorsements of BA and/or BX. Positive interpersonal skills. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Content area expertise. Knowledge of MTSS Framework. Strong organizational skills including the ability to be detail oriented. Job Summary Implement English Language Arts curriculum, following the State standards. Design and utilize creative and engaging lesson plans. Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to meet the needs of individual students. Assess students using both formative and summative assessments. Include practical application of content knowledge in lesson plans. Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of each learner. Develop and implement strategies of interventions for individual students. Establish and consistently implement positive classroom management strategies while promoting a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment for each learner. Utilize progress monitoring. Maintain accurate and complete student records. Establish and maintain an effective and cooperative working relationship with all staff, students, and parents.
