Category Schools - General Education Teacher Job Type Contract Make a meaningful contribution as a Health Teacher during the 2026-2027 academic year, guiding students at both the middle and high school levels. This exciting contract position spans from August 31, 2026, through June 7, 2027, and offers the chance to build health and wellness understanding in vibrant school communities. The role covers a .7 FTE schedule, split between the middle and high school. You'll instruct three Beginning Weights classes and Nutrition classes at the high school, and lead an Advisory plus a Personal Wellness section at the middle school. Collaborate with collegial educators, inspire learners, and foster a positive, inclusive environment where every student can thrive.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid teaching certification in General Education or Health Education Experience teaching health, nutrition, or physical education at the middle and/or high school level preferred Strong classroom management and communication skills Ability to adapt instructional approaches to various learning needs Commitment to promoting a positive, healthy school culture
Key Responsibilities:
