Category Schools - General Education Teacher Job Type Contract Step into an exciting role fostering wellness and healthy habits in students for the 2026-2027 academic year! This contract opportunity is ideal for an enthusiastic Health Teacher eager to make a meaningful difference across both middle and high school settings. Your responsibilities will be shared between two educational levels, allowing you to diversify your teaching experience and positively impact a wider range of learners. At the high school, you'll lead three Beginning Weights classes and Nutrition courses, inspiring older students to develop lifelong fitness and nutritional awareness. In the middle school, your schedule includes advisory sessions and teaching the engaging Personal Wellness curriculum, helping younger students build foundational life skills.
Key Qualifications:
Valid teaching certification in General Education (Health endorsement preferred) Previous teaching experience in a school setting, preferably split between both middle and high school levels Strong understanding of fitness, nutrition, and overall student wellness education Excellent communication skills with students, families, and educational teams Ability to adapt lesson plans to diverse learning needs and levels
Role Overview:
Start date: August 31, 2026; End date: June 7, 2027
