Develop differentiated lessons plans for students in the Learning Connections classroom. Facilitate and oversee two Learning Connections Tutorial Study Halls. Maintain good communication with parents. Work under the leadership of the Director of Academic Support, Head of Middle School Head, Head of Upper School, and as well as alongside other Middle School, Upper School, and Learning Connections faculty members. Attend all Learning Connections faculty meetings and Middle School or Upper School faculty meetings. Provide other instructional responsibilities as deemed necessary by Director of Academic Support. Required Professional Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher; degree in Math preferred. Multisensory Math intervention training. Demonstrates a superior knowledge of the subject/age being taught. Communicates effectively with students, parents, peers, and administrators. Fuses a robust Biblical worldview with every subject matter and relationship, using a variety of methods without compromising the truth of the Word of God. Respects the diversity of students, including their race, denominational persuasion, ethnicity, socio-economic status, and learning ability. Can clearly articulate a Biblical philosophy of education. Maintains confidentiality with sensitive information. Willing to abide by ACA's Professional Standards. Believes the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, authoritative, inerrant Word of God—the standard for faith and practice (Article II, ACA By-Laws). Stands as a Christian role model in attitude, speech, and actions toward others (Luke 6:40). Demonstrates the fruits of mature Christians, has a knowledge of Scripture, and has a fundamental understanding of key doctrines covered in the By-laws. Has a Christ-centered home.
